It’s inspired by the farm and field of sunflowers that Kelsey Carlson is lucky enough to pass by on her morning walks with her children. Whenever they walk the neighborhood loop they always have to stop by the farm to check on the animals. Her two year old loves the cows and ducks and it’s especially fun to stop in the springtime when there is a collection of baby animals. The pretty buttery yellow, lake blue, soft cream, grassy green and rich reds she uses in this collection hearken to more traditional farm colors.
