Anna Maria’s new Backings for this season offer a little bit of everything, whether you are feeling floral, a little wild, more decorative, or as classic as plaid! I am so pleased to be offering our first ever yarn-dyed plaid as a wide backing. I have always sung the praises of using a yarn-dyed woven on the back of a quilt, not only for its softness, but especially for hand-quilters, because it is so easy to “needle” and much gentler on your hands. These designs are also beautiful for home goods that benefit from the extra-wide dimension, like tablecloths, shower curtains, or duvet covers.
