The warm weather these past few days has us dreaming of spring. March is famous for coming in like a lion and going out like a lamb, and right now we’re happily somewhere in between, watching the snow melt away and imagining the first flowers on the horizon. The Flower Block from Side Lake Stitch feels like a lovely way to celebrate the shift in seasons, with its bold floral design that comes together using just two fabrics. Choose two favorite patterns, or explore our wide selection of Solids to find a pair of colors that let the bold petals really blossom.

In her new collection, Melody Miller brings back some of her most iconic designs. In her own words, “the idea for Trinketry, “a collection of trinkets”, began when I received requests to bring back my Pens and Spools designs from my 2016 collection, Trinket. I have always loved those motifs, and was excited to put them on fabric again. With the idea of trinkets and small objects in mind, I got inspired to draw a series of over 80 match boxes (an idea I’ve had for years!) that reference drawings and artwork from throughout my career. That led to a match and flame print called “Lit”. I’ve also wanted to put my Cherry Friends (that have been very popular on stickers!) on fabric for this collection. This group is rounded out with a big splashy wallpaper-style print, Trinket Floral, and a small vintage-inspired geometric print, Matchbook. This collection also brings new colors of my Hearts print, one of my all-time favorite supporters.” We have Quilting Cotton yardage available, as well as Pre-cuts and Half Yard Bundles!

Monika Forsberg has lived in London since 1995. It’s one of the greenest cities in the world. There is a constant buzz of life. Wherever you turn, you’ll find a tree-lined street, plants bursting from a front garden, or flowers spilling out of a hanging basket outside a pub, forever changing and growing toward the light. There are many little well-maintained parks and squares as well as wilder fields and forests. The air smells of bloom, of dirt and life. She’s shared her love of the city in her signature style, with bold geometrics in a shaded jewel-toned palette – a tribute to London, The City of Dreams. We have Quilting Cotton yardage available, as well as Half Yard Bundles!
